
District Collector reviews development projects in the Parashuram Kshetra
A meeting to review development works at the holy site of Parshuram was held at the Lord Parshuram Temple, presided over by Ratnagiri District Collector Manuj Jindal. On this occasion, Jeevan Relekar, President of the Sansthan Shri Bhargavram Parshuram, and Trustee Dr. Prashant Patwardhan welcomed District Collector Manuj Jindal.
A detailed discussion was held during the meeting regarding pending works concerning the Public Works Department, the National Highways Authority, and the Revenue Department. The District Collector reviewed development works in the temple premises, essential amenities for devotees, stalled projects related to the national highway, and various ongoing projects being executed by different departments.
The meeting was attended by the institution's President Jeevan Relekar; Trustees Dr. Prashant Patwardhan and Sandeep Thatte; Advisor Ramchandra Vadke; Chiplun Sub-Divisional Officer Akash Ligade and Tehsildar Pravin Lokre; Khed Sub-Divisional Officer Mrs. Vaishali Patil and Tehsildar Sudhir Sonawane; and Advisor Samir Desai.
Following the meeting, District Collector Manuj Jindal personally inspected the ongoing construction of the cultural center under the Parshuram Kshetra Development Scheme. He also inquired about the challenges facing various development projects and instructed the concerned officials to immediately complete the pending works.
Dignitaries present on this occasion included National Highways Authority officials Pankaj Gosavi, Mr. Madkar, and Mrs. Jadhav; Sub-Divisional Forest Officer Mrs. Girija Desai; Public Works Department Superintending Engineer Mr. Kulkarni and Executive Engineer Mr. Sukhdeve; as well as the Deputy Superintendent of Land Records (Chiplun), Sushant Salunkhe.
A detailed discussion was held regarding various development works in the *Sansthan* (temple trust) area, pending projects related to the national highway, and department-specific challenges. After reviewing the operations of the concerned departments, District Collector Manuj Jindal instructed officials to complete all pending tasks on a priority basis and within the stipulated timeframe. It is expected that this will accelerate the pace of development works at the holy site of Parshuram.
