Digital arrest fraud worth Rs 1.23 crore exposed
Ratnagiri Cyber Police has busted an inter-state gang that defrauded Rs 1 crore 23 lakh by fearing digital arrest. In this case, the main accused Gagandeep Bhardwaj has been arrested from Delhi-Noida area and the court has remanded him in police custody for four days. Based on technical investigation and intelligence information, the cyber police traced the accused and took this action. The team under the guidance of Police Inspector Smita Sutar carried out this successful action.
